Public sector researchers are encouraged to engage with AI PhD students to exchange insights on methodologies and real-world applications.
This retreat offers a space for presenting research and gathering feedback while facilitating discussions with domain experts in security studies. It encourages a fruitful exchange of ideas and perspectives, supported by a series of specialized lectures that bridge the fields of AI and security.
Additionally, the event includes an advanced tutorial on the PyTorch framework for advanced users and experts (tbc). There will also be an Open Science course to improve research project organization and to learn reproducible research best practices.
The retreat will conclude with a panel discussion on "Artificial Intelligence and Global Security."
