On August 17, the annual institute excursion of IMCS led its employees to Inzell. The chair of IMCS was again invited to participate in the “FE ohne Schnee” event this year, which took place in Kleinwalsertal. Our postdoc Ivo Steinbrecher was able to present its work on mixed-dimensional modeling.

Our colleagues Max Firmbach and Dr.-Ing. Matthias Mayr have attended the Xth International Conference on Coupled Problems in Science and Engineering, which was held in Chania/Crete, Greece on June 5-7,2023, and have presented research findings from IMCS.
