Research days 2023 in Herrsching am Ammersee

Last week, from December 6th to 7th, the annual research days of the "Computer-Aided Simulation" group led by Prof. Popp took place for the third time in Herrsching am Ammersee.

The two-day lecture series has now established itself in the research group as an excellent platform for internal idea exchange and collaboration organization. In addition, selected expert lectures provide participants with the opportunity to further educate themselves beyond their own research areas.

This year, there were exciting presentations on topics such as "Distributed Memory Parallelism in Trilinos" and "Gaussian Processes," as well as a series of sessions on "Time and self-management" and "Scientific publishing."

The evening "after-work" conclusion, in addition to the intense scientific discourse, also offers the opportunity for a more personal exchange within the CompSim team. We look forward to the research days in 2024!
