IMCS contributes to GAMM Workshop on Numerical Analysis

The IMCS participated in the GAMM Workshop on Numerical Analysis, which was held from November 13–15 in Augsburg.

Thomas Apel and Philipp Zilk contributed to the engaging conference program with their presentations. Thomas Apel shared insights on "Numerical analysis for the very weak solution of the Stokes problem," a topic developed in collaboration with Katharina Lorenz and Johannes Pfefferer, the latter also attending the workshop as a participant. Philipp Zilk delivered a talk titled "Error estimates for isogeometric analysis on polar domains with corners."

The workshop also provided an excellent platform for scientific discussions, both during the day's sessions and at the workshop dinner, fostering valuable exchanges of ideas and collaborations.
