IMCS organizes Finite Element Symposium

The Chemnitz Finite Element Symposium is a traditional conference series, which takes place annually in September. In terms of content, the conferences are not limited to finite elements, but cover all methods for the computational solution of partial differential equations. Since 2017, the symposium has also been touring from time to time, and next year IMCS will host the symposium from September 15-17, 2022, at the Haus der bayerischen Landwirtschaft in Herrsching am Ammersee. The conference venue is very attractive as accommodation, catering and lectures are concentrated in one house. The Förderverein Konstruktiver Ingenieurbau supports the organization.
