Field trials of research drones with active units at the Combat Training Center.

In order to evaluate the benefits of research drones, various reconnaissance scenarios were flown as part of the regular training operations of Jäger Battalion 91 at the Combat Training Center in Gardelegen. Here, random soldiers were given AI-supported drones as an additional aid. In addition, highly automated, experimental research drone systems were used by employees of the institute. The aim of these investigations is to determine the potential and effectiveness of current research topics in realistic operations.
