ICAPS_01.jpgIt was again a thrilling and fruitful experience to participate at the International Conference on Automated Planning and Scheduling (ICAPS), a flagship AI conference in automated planning and scheduling! Besides exciting exchanges of ideas with the greatest minds in the field,

Prakash Jamakatel and Jane Jean Kiam from AI-Lab, together with Rebecca de Venezia and Christian Muise presented at the ICAPS System Demonstration to showcase how planning and LLM can be combined to create a goal-directed dialogue agent for a single-pilot cockpit.

B-Prepared Meeting in Genoa for the Fifth Product Increment Planning and the General Assembly

From 15th to 17th October, the members of the EU-Horizon project "B-Prepared" gathered for a project meeting at the Green Palace in the Genova Blue District near the harbour in Genoa.

Ignaz Kögler Research Summer Camp – 22.09. to 29.09.2024

In the last week of September, the Ignaz Kögler Research Summer Camp 2024 took place in Ingolstadt, in which Sean Klein from the AI Lab also took part. In addition to interesting lectures on autonomous flying, urban air mobility (UAM), artificial intelligence and the use of sensor data, prototypes for camera-based trajectory prediction and for the safe autonomous landing of drones were also developed.

It was challenging to bring together all the players in the drone industry who have the ambition to strengthen European defence with their latest drone technologies: We enjoyed exchanging ideas with other researchers and developers and gaining insights into the experiences of end users.
