As part of this thesis, a laboratory environment for air traffic management shall be designed and implemented. The goal is to create a central research platform that translates scientific findings into practical solutions while fostering collaboration with academia and industry. This requires analyzing existing technologies, determining technical requirements, and considering user needs from current and planned research projects.

Based on these insights, a modular concept for laboratory setup and system integration shall be developed and progressively implemented. Technical specifications, organizational frameworks, and practical guidelines must be documented. Finally, optimization potentials shall be identified, and recommendations for a scalable long-term laboratory structure shall be derived.
