The Technical University Munich (Forschungeinrichtung Satellitengeodäsie) and the University of the Bundeswehr Munich (Institute of Space Technology and Space Applications) invite applications for a Ph.D.

We are looking for a Ph.D. candidate to join a recently established research unit funded by the German grant agency DFG. The research unit is focused on a new aspect of time in space geodetic measurements. Our project aims to enhance GNSS observation by improving its calibration through satellite signals and terrestrial transmissions by a so-called pseudolite.

European Navigation Conference 2024

During the 22nd – 24th of May the European Navigation Conference (ENC) took place at the ESA ESTEC site in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. Contributing with one presentation and two posters, Mohamed Bochkati and Florian Binder from the Institute of Space Applications and Space Technology were present at the conference, presenting results of the projects of HAND-CD, GOOSE - VTL and WESIS - β.
