Measurement Campaign Firefly

28 May 2024

As part of the Firefly project, a measurement campaign was carried out together with RWTH Aachen University (IRT) to test a jointly developed navigation system consisting of pseudolites and a rover as a complete system. The following points are important here:

  • Measurement setup incorporated a reference base receiver and two PL units to obtain pseudolite double-difference observations.
  • IMU aiding of GNSS realized by participation of project colleagues from RWTH Aachen
  • Successful pseudolite signal acquisition and tracking on dynamic ground vehicle and UAV receiver platforms.

After analyzing the collected data, great results were achieved.
