New Lecture "Nonlinear Finite Element Methods"
29 March 2018
In the spring term 2018 Prof. Popp will offer the new lecture "Nonlinear FEM" in the master courses BAU and ME for the first time. The lecture provides students with an in-depth overview of nonlinear problems and their numerical solutions with the help of suitable finite element models - an area that is becoming increasingly important in modern computer-aided simulation. Examples include wind turbine rotor blades and detonation effects on buildings.
An information session and the first lecture will take place on Monday, 09 April 2018 from 16:45 to 18:15. Further information about the new lecture can be found here (in German).
