New Publication on Beam-to-Solid Coupling!

In this article, the coupling of rotations between thin fibers and three-dimensional volumes is investigated and particularly developed coupling algorithms are presented. This makes it possible to map all nonlinear stiffening effects from the fibers to the surrounding matrix. This publication originated from a collaboration of IMCS with the researchers from TUM.
