IMCS at IACM DTE & AICOMAS 2025
26 Februar 2025
The IMCS participated in the 3rd IACM Digital Twin in Engineering (DTE 2025) and 1st ECCOMAS Artificial Intelligence and Computational Methods in Applied Sciences (AICOMAS 2025) conferences. The event featured insightful talks and interdisciplinary discussions.
Our institute made the following contributions:
- Bishr Maradni: Probabilistic Virtual Sensing of Reinforced Concrete Structures Based on Gaussian Processes.
- Tarik Sahin: Physics-Informed Neural Networks for Solid and Contact Mechanics Problems in 3D.
- Daniel Wolff: Reinforcement Learning for Solving Optimal Design Tasks in Computational Mechanics. (keynote)
- Alexander Popp: RISK.twin: A Class of Digital Twins for Critical Infrastructure Protection.
Alexander Popp and Daniel Wolff, along with Tobias Koch and Max von Danwitz from the DLR Institute for the Protection of Critical Infrastructures (DLR/PI), organized a mini symposium on Digital Twins and Their Enabling Technologies for Infrastructures, covering numerical algorithms, machine learning, and augmented reality.
We thank all speakers, attendees, and organizers for making this conference a great success and look forward to future collaborations on digital twins and computational methods.
