At the Hirschberg summit: Presentation of the BAU-17 Bachelor's certificates
19 October 2020
A big day for 18 students of the BAU-17 class last Wednesday, October 21, 2020: The ceremonial presentation of the Bachelor's certificates was on the agenda. Due to the ongoing Corona pandemic, the usual ceremony in the ballroom of the University Casino had to be cancelled this year, but was more than adequately replaced by the creative commitment of the student department 6/B. On the program was a mountain march to the Hirschberg (1,668 m) in Kreuth / Tegernsee, where after reaching the summit a stop was made at the Hirschberghaus - of course in compliance with the current hygiene and distance regulations.
As a representative of the academic sector and the professorship in the BAU faculty, Prof. Popp was invited to accompany the students and award them their Bachelor's certificates at lofty heights as the first "intermediate summit" of their academic careers. Next year, after a total of only four years of intensive study, the students will be awarded their Master's degree.
