European Trilinos User Group Meeting 2019
11 June 2019
The institute contributed in the European Trilinos User Group Meeting 2019, held at ETH Zurich on June 11, 2019. Dr. Matthias Mayr gave a talk on "Using Trilinos/MueLu for Scalable Multigrid Preconditioning" aiming at introducing new users to MueLu, but also at highlighting current MueLu capabilities and development activities. MueLu is a package for the flexible and rapid development of algebraic multigrid (AMG) methods within the Trilinos project. It provides access to various multigrid methods suitable for the preconditioning of iterative solvers. IMCS actively uses MueLu in its in-house research code and also contributes to the development of MueLu.
The European Trilinos User Group Meeting Series offers a forum for Trilinos users and developers to share experiences, discuss recent developments and future demands in HPC in general and Trilinos in particular. It is the European spin-off of the Trilinos User Group Meeting (TUG), hosted by Sandia National Labororatories in Albuquerque, NM, every fall.
