FRICO Best System demo at ICAPS 2023 in Prague, Czech Republic

The AI-Lab team presented a design of an adaptive assistance system for ultra-light aircraft at the ICAPS 2023. The presented AI planning-based approach was honored with the Best System Demonstration Award. The International Conference on Automated Planning and Scheduling (ICAPS) is a flagship AI conference for automated planning and scheduling.

B-Prepared Meeting in Genoa for the Fifth Product Increment Planning and the General Assembly

From 15th to 17th October, the members of the EU-Horizon project "B-Prepared" gathered for a project meeting at the Green Palace in the Genova Blue District near the harbour in Genoa.

Ignaz Kögler Research Summer Camp – 22.09. to 29.09.2024

In the last week of September, the Ignaz Kögler Research Summer Camp 2024 took place in Ingolstadt, in which Sean Klein from the AI Lab also took part. In addition to interesting lectures on autonomous flying, urban air mobility (UAM), artificial intelligence and the use of sensor data, prototypes for camera-based trajectory prediction and for the safe autonomous landing of drones were also developed.
