Sebastian Lindner promoviert

And the Jet-Team hits second time. Sebastian Lindner successfully defended his doctoral dissertation shortly after his teammate (or should we say "Wing Man" Felix Heilemann).
His thesis deals with the concept, design, and evaluation of a Human-Autonomy Teaming (HAT) system for aerial fighter jet operations in Manned-unmanned Teaming (MUM-T) missions. As a trained physicist he became a real operational specialist for air combat during the time as research fellow. With this strong background, he was instrumental in shaping a cognitive automation solution for the challenges in managing manned and unmanned vehicles in teams and swarms in the simulated battlefield.
Congratulations from the MARC – HuMiCS Lab and the researchers of the Institute of Flight Systems.
Also special thanks to Wolfgang Koch, the FCAS chief scientist from Fraunhofer FKIE, who supported with his report.
