Unter Mitwirkung des ehemaligen CISS-Direktors Uwe M. Borghoff ist im International Journal of Intelligence and CounterIntelligence ein neuer Artikel mit dem Titel "Intelligence Education Made in Europe: Critical Reflections on the German Experience" erschienen.

Im Abstract dazu heißt es:

In light of the unprecedented levels of conventional and unconventional threats that Europe currently faces, political elites across the continent have started to call for deeper intelligence and security cooperation based on a shared professional and strategic culture. Our investigation of the opportunities and pitfalls involved in the development of educational programs aiming at the development of a European intelligence culture draws on the experience of one of Germany’s contributions to the academic program of the Intelligence College in Europe. Using the example of a module on cyber intelligence and data-driven decision support, we demonstrate the importance of three particular aspects in education programs aiming to produce intelligence professionals capable of providing specific, accurate, and up-to-date decisionmaking knowledge: (1) interdisciplinary or, better, transdisciplinary collaboration and content; (2) the integration of information technology (IT) know-how (IT-based decision support) and digitization aspects into the general intelligence curricula; and (3) the development and learning of relevant methodological skills in the analysis and management of data within the intelligence domain.
