The “GNSS signal design” research area investigates advanced modulation and data delivery techniques for future radio navigation. The institute has developed over the years a variety of unique software tools for the SIS performance evaluation, where state-of-the-art techniques in the field of radio communications networks are analyzed and their applicability for satellite navigation is assessed. The scope is to propose and provide better satellite navigations services in challenging environments.
