Verena Jackson is Visiting Scholar at Duke University School of Law
29 November 2021
Verena Jackson is spending two months in the USA as a Visiting Scholar at Duke University School of Law in Durham, North Carolina, researching the compatibility of human rights and autonomous weapons systems. Specifically, she is interested in analyzing the U.S. (legal) perspective on domestic law enforcement (i.e., police) operations outside of "classic" armed conflicts.
An important part of Verena Jackson's research stay is also the transatlantic professional exchange with colleagues from the Center on Law, Ethics and National Security at Duke Law School.
