New project on gender-sensitive deradicalization work

The project "Intervention Points for Gender-Sensitive Deradicalization Work with Women and Girls in the Area of Salafism" - funded by the Federal Office for Migration and Refugees (BAMF) - aims to further develop gender-sensitive deradicalization work. The project, which is being carried out under the leadership of the project partners Competence Center for Deradicalization (KomZ) at the Bavarian State Criminal Police Office and the Hessian Information and Competence Center against Extremism and in cooperation with the Baden-Württemberg State Office for the Protection of the Constitution and the CISS, focuses on the phenomenon area of Salafism. The aim of the project is to identify intervention points for a gender-sensitive approach to deradicalization measures for women and girls.
