Dr. Thomas Delamotte is a member of the SPACE research center and a research associate at the Chair of Signal Processing.
The Chair of Signal Processing includes four groups that work on secure space communications, digital satellite payloads and satellite surveillance, satellite networks and waveforms, and biomedical information technology. With the Munich Center for Space Communications the Institute also operates Germany’s largest laboratory and testing facility for satellite-based 5G networks and the Internet of Things. This Center’s independent research facility for satellite and space communications, Munich SpaceCom Labs, is completely open for use by the public research community and provides excellent technical infrastructure.
Dr. Thomas Delamotte is the leader of the Digital Satellite Payloads group at the Institute of Information Technology. His work is focused in particular on innovative solutions for signal processing and resource allocation for future satellite systems in 5G & Beyond networks.
