Administrative Council

The elected members of the Senate, the University Council, the Commissioners for Gender Equality and the Governance Committee form the Administrative Council. The elected members of the Senate, the members of the University Council and the Commissioners for Gender Equality are voting members. The Administrative Council is chaired by the chairperson of the University Council.

The Administrative Council makes decisions on suggestions concerning the General Regulations and elects the President and Vice Presidents. The Administrative Council makes recommendations for the appointment of the Chancellor and makes decisions on the Structure and Development Plan of the University of the Bundeswehr Munich. The Council’s responsibilities also include making decisions on the establishment, cancellation or alteration of courses of study and on awarding honorary titles.
