Simon Schosser M.Sc.

Simon Schosser has been a PhD student at the Institute of Flight Systems since June 2024. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and a Master's degree in Statistics and Data Science, both from Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU). During his Master's program, he focused on Unsupervised Deep Learning, graduating at the top of his class.

His current research at the Institute of Flight Systems is centered on the application of Deep Reinforcement Learning to develop AI-driven tactical flight behavior for Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicles (UCAVs).

 

Simon Schosser ist seit Juni 2024 Doktorand am Institut für Flugsysteme. Er hat einen Bachelorabschluss in Mathematik sowie einen Masterabschluss in Statistics and Data Science von der Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München (LMU). Während seines Masterstudiums spezialisierte er sich auf Unsupervised Deep Learning und schloss als Jahrgangsbester ab.

In seiner aktuellen Forschung am Institut für Flugsysteme konzentriert er sich auf die Entwicklung von KI-gesteuertem taktischen Flugverhalten für unbemannte Kampfflugzeuge (UCAVs) mittels Deep Reinforcement Learning.
