Sascha T. Geißler M.A. MBA

Sascha T. Geißler studied Geography at the Universities of Marburg and Tübingen, including a research stay in Ecuador and a semester abroad in Norway. He completed his studies with a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Human Geography - Global Studies. Additionally, he completed a continuing education program in Academic Geoinformatics at the University of Salzburg.

After his studies, Mr. Geißler joined the Bundeswehr as a temporary soldier and was trained as an army officer. He served in various roles, including with the Special Forces Command in the G2 division as a staff officer in the Geoinformation Service, and held several positions at the Center for Geoinformation of the Bundeswehr. He is also trained as a staff officer in intelligence. During his service, he was deployed with EUTM Mali and Resolute Support Afghanistan.

After his military service, Mr. Geißler pursued and completed a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) at the University of the Bundeswehr Munich, in cooperation with ESB Reutlingen.

Currently, he is conducting research in the fields of Wargaming and Red Teaming at the Center for Intelligence and Security Studies (CISS).
