Jan Landsiedel M.Sc.

Jan Landsiedel's academic background is in Intelligence and Security (MISS), with a specialisation in cyber defence, obtained from the University of the Bundeswehr in Munich.

His professional experience as a military officer encompasses contributions to concept development. Among other things he edited the German Armed Forces Wargaming Handbook, which currently plays an important role as a lead document in reestablishing Wargaming within the German military.

He is currently employed as an IT-Manager within the R&D Department of the Planning Office. As part of his PhD, he is researching the psychological aspects of wargaming and their influence on strategic planning capabilities.
