Dr. Martin Hofer
Martin Hofer studied mathematics at the Technical University of Munich and later at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich.
He received his doctorate from the latter institution at the end of 2018 with a thesis on the algebraic theory of numbers. His post-doctoral research work at Ludwig Maximilian University increasingly focused on algorithmic aspects and the processing of large data sets. He also gained practical experience in the field of data science through a part-time position at Ehrenmüller GmbH.
He has been head of the IT systems section at the Center for Crisis Early Warning (CCEW) since April 2021.
