Dr. rer. nat. Mathias Köberl
studied chemistry at the Technical University Munich and received his doctorate in organometallic chemistry in 2012. Since 2014 he is head of the chemical laboratory at the Institute for Construction Materials at the Bundeswehr University Munich.
Duties
- Technical and organizational management of the Department of Chemistry (analytical and instrumental chemistry) at the Institute of Materials
- Practical laboratory work and lectures (introduction to construction chemistry, chemistry of organic building materials - plastics);
- Supervision of bachelor and master theses
- Development of test methods for research (e.g. in infrared spectroscopy and thermogravimetry)
- Assessment of the chemical resistance of materials
- Occupational safety and security
