The Institute of Jet Propulsion is involved in a wide rage of research topics in the field of turbomachinery, their special aerodynamic aspects, as well as propuslion system integration. Therefore numerical, as wel as experimental studies are employed. For those activites the Institue can reach back on specialised infrastructure, comprising unique test facilities and powerfull numerical tools.
