The Professorship of Control Engineering and Electrical Metrology with the SENS research focus on simulation and algorithms for sensor systems is, by its very nature, more software-oriented and thus has no need for large laboratory stations, test tracks or satellite dishes. Still, a multitude of development and testing resources is available for this field, including in the following areas:
- simulation tools for technical systems and processes,
- simulation tools for electrical networks,
- programming systems for various target platforms,
- programming systems for visualizations,
- signal processing libraries,
- image processing libraries,
- development environments for embedded systems,
- electronic circuit and board development tools,
- functional tests under the most diverse operational and environmental conditions,
- cloud-based and data-based handling of process data.
We also cooperate closely with many other professorships of the University on interdisciplinary projects.
