Professor Eisele is a founding member of the SENS Research Center.

He held the Professorship of Microsystem Technology at the Institute of Physics of the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology and is the now first Emeritus of Excellence at UniBw M. He has spent many years working in the area of nanomaterials, devices and silicon technology at the Fraunhofer Research Institution for Microsystems and Solid-State Technologies (EMFT).
