Within the new edited volume "Dienende Führung: Zu einer neuen Balance zwischen ICH und WIR" Professor Sackmann answers the questions "Where is organizational culture in digitalization? And what happens to servant leadership?" [Wo bleibt die Organisationskultur im Digitalisierungsprozess? Und was passiert mit dienender Führung?"], whereas in "Personalmanagement in der Bundeswehr" (Elbe & Richter, 2019) she sheds light on the new determinants of human resources in the Bundeswehr taking a cultural complexity perspective.
On November 6 2019, Professor Sackmann participated as invited panelist at an Organisational Culture and Compliance Workshop focusing on Learning and Collaboration. The workshop was organized by the Center for Analysis of Risk and Regulation (CARR) at the London Business School.
Professor Sackmann participated as invited panel member at the congress: How much knowledge flows? Measurement, determinants and innovative relevance of knowledge transfers between science and pracis. The congress took place in Berlin on October 11 and was organized by ZWE and the Stifterverband. Professor Sackmann further gave a talk about "What it needs for knowledge to flow via knowledge transfer platforms".

This year's IACCP congress (International Association for Cross-Cultural Psychology) took place at the University of Guelph in Canada. Dipl.-Kulturwirt Erna Herzfeldt presented her paper "On the role of individual mindfulness on creative performance in multicultural teams“ there with great success.
