Lindah Achieng Ouma is a study coordinator at the Institute of Cultural Studies, University of the Bundeswehr Munich since December 2023. She is also responsible for building cooperation between the Institute and African universities. Her work involves identifying areas of mutual interest and developing collaborations that promote cross-cultural dialogue, knowledge exchange, and research partnerships. 

Lindah earned her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Nairobi, Kenya. Having developed a keen interest in public policy and governance, Lindah pursued a Master of Arts in Staatswissenschaften (Governance Public Policy) at the University of Passau in Germany. During her time in Passau, Lindah served as a student assistant and research associate for the Chair of International Politics, where she contributed to research on topics such as peace and security in Africa, political silence of colonial atrocities, sustainable foreign policy, and the European Union relations to Africa. Lindah is pursuing her doctorate in International Politics at the University of the Bundeswehr, focusing on Africa’s role in world politics under the global climate regime of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC). Lindah’s research interests include African politics, peace and security, sustainable development, social- and criminal justice, international political economy, and Africa-EU relations.
