Our goal is to investigate and develop technical innovations and concepts for the protection of data, software and systems in a holistic and interdisciplinary approach. To this end, we bring together scientific expertise and work closely with partners from the Bundeswehr, authorities, academia and industry. Our researchers are working on the topics of the digital future in numerous scientific projects.

We want to make Germany a little more secure. This is why we research, encourage cooperation and support networking and knowledge transfer. With the wide-ranging expertise of our research groups, we support decision-makers in an advisory function. Having direct access to quantum computers enables us to find solutions today for the challenges of tomorrow. Our cyber range and teaching infrastructure are state-of-the-art and provide the basis for our high-quality training programs for the Bundeswehr.

Young academics are our most valuable asset. In our Master's degree program in Cyber Security, we prepare students of the University of the Bundeswehr Munich for the IT challenges of their professional lives.
