ResiFo – Study on resilience research in Germany and Europe

Briefly stated, this project provides an overview of the funding landscape in Germany for projects aimed at strengthening resilience in all areas of society.

The backdrop to this project is the Sendai Framework 2015-2030, which resulted from the Third UN World Conference for Disaster Risk Reduction. Therefore, this research project reasserts the framework’s focus on resilience and seeks to systematically research and collate the diverse funding opportunities available for projects aimed at resilience.

The outcomes of this study are designed to aid a variety of actors to identify a suitable source of financing for their needs as well as to make the search for such funding simpler and faster. Existing funding opportunities will hence be able to be more strongly utilised for the whole field of resilience.
