Klaus Zierer is an Associate Research Fellow of the ESRC-funded Centre of Skills, Knowledge and Occupational Performance (SKOPE). He taught for five years in primary and secondary schools, in 2009 he was a Visiting Research Fellow at the Department of Education, University of Oxford, in 2011 he was Professor of Education at the Carl von Ossietzky University, Oldenburg, Germany. Since 2015 he is Professor of School Education at the University of Augsburg.
