Prof. Dr. Bettina Fritzsche is Professor for General Education and qualitative Methods at the University of Education in Freiburg im Breisgau. From 2010 until 2014 she was leader of the research project “Relations of Recognition in Urban Primary Schools. A binational, comparative ethnographic study”, funded by DFG (German Research Council). Her research interests lie in cultural-comparative educational research, reconstructive research on education, ethnography and videography of pedagogical practices and diversity in schools.
