Hot-Wire Anemometry

Several hot-wire anemometer systems are available at the institute for the temporally high-resolution determination of the instantaneous values of velocity (3 components) and temperature. Using several probes, the formation of the temporal mean values of velocity and temperature as well as the auto- and cross-correlations of velocity and temperature fluctuations become available.
