ABOUT
I joined the group of Prof. Matthias Gerdts in July 2021 to work as a Research Assistant and Doctorate student. Over the past few years, I have worked in the automotive industry for different companies/teams and have developed a growing interest in the field of autonomous driving and ADAS. In 2018, I received my Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with the specialization Mechatronics from the University of Paderborn, and my thesis was concerned with the implementation and evaluation of different control strategies for an Adaptive Cruise Control system.
Currently my research focuses on operating and maintaining a robust framework for vehicle control in real-life autonomous driving applications, with an emphasis on trajectory planing and Model Predictive Control.
