Alumni reunion at the university

On September 13, 2024, a group of 12 former students from the class of 1/1971 visited the University of the Bundeswehr Munich. The reason for the reunion was the 50th anniversary of the graduation in 1974. At the beginning of the visit, Stephanie Borghoff from the Alumni and Career Service presented the current developments at the UniBw M. The group then took the opportunity to talk to current student Lieutenant Louis H. about the differences between a career as an officer and studying then and now. However, the visit also focused on current space projects. Kevin Li, research associate at the institute, presented the dtec project SeRANIS to the visitors.

*dtec.bw – Digitalization and Technology Research Center of the Bundeswehr – is a scientific center jointly supported by both universities of the Bundeswehr and part of the German government's economic stimulus program to overcome the COVID-19 crisis. With its inclusion in the German Recovery and Resilience Plan (GRRP), dtec.bw is funded by the European Union – NextGenerationEU.
